5 actually sharp and in focus images!
That 3rd image is a cracker - the look of concentration on the boys face as he races down the pier

5 actually sharp and in focus images!
The empty seat and then, next shot, it isn't. Lovely. I liked Lubbyman's challenge as well. That would provide an interesting contrast.

5 actually sharp and in focus images!
Challenge accepted, although when is another matter!! Thanks also for the comments I came across this image also that I forgot about when going back into Lr today. I took 2 exposures as the birds were in flight, they were in different places on both frames but using Photoshop I've merged them...

MZ-5 + 1998 Fuji Neopan 1600 pro in different developer
Hi once Again Folks -- yes still 'Messing About' with that 1998 outdated Fuji Neopan 1600 Pro this time in my 'Gift' MZ-5 I changed Developer to the Kodak D23 Formula just Metol and Sodium Sulphite and used it at STOCK strength to get to 'Fine Grain' effect of 100gms Sodium Sulphite per 1 lit...

Why is red a fast colour?
Two great images of technology from widely different ages. The control line speed model aircraft is powered by a HobbyKing 'Red Head' gasoline fired pulse jet engine and yup, they made a helluva noise. I have a vague recollection of seeing a rather primitive version of a pulse-jet powered model ba...

Horseshoe Gammon, Eggs & Chips
Nice. It's always a pleasure to see that view of the river and viaduct at Knaresborough. One of my children lives up the road in Harrogate but its many years since we've made the short trip to Knaresborough while visiting them. Your pictures bring back memories of lunch down by the river. Were ice ...

Chrysalis
A chrysalis dropped out of the back of an old TV while lifting it. It seemed like a reason to do a long-promised modification to my macro rig to make it easier to use bellows and a good excuse to play with some older non-macro lenses. Here are some of the results. I've no idea what species of moth o...

Things Growing In The Garden
A few random things from a wander around the garden. All are quick 'n dirty short stacks (isn't that an American breakfast? ) produced simply by rotating the focus ring in small increments and keeping fingers crossed. The first is a Welsh onion in a temporary place that seems to have beco...

Murder Squad
Murder Squad This was a grab shot and taken as I was walking and approached the crows. I was out with my latest purchase, the D FA HD 28-105mm. They took off as I got near to them which surprised me as I thought they would stay put like the seagulls did further back as I walked the headland. I ma...

To the post box and back...
I had to post a couple of letters, so I took my IR K20d with me! A short walk but a few images came out of it!

Luverly Lichen
Wow! Another world! Great shots. I did a lichen walk a few weeks back with London Wildlife Trust, and was lent a jewellers eye glass to look at the various lichen. I thought what I saw was impressive, but these shots are a whole new level.

Luverly Lichen
Thanks folks. x5 focus stacking outdoors was definitely a learning experience for me, quite different to doing x1 macro outdoors or even x5 indoors. Apart from anything else, even when you don't think there's any air movement what you see through the viewfinder is still moving slightly in the tinies...
