Back in Barry - Set 1
Thanks all, yes, it's a shame that you don't have to look far now to see the abuse, lack of reinvestment or the effects of time and lack of repairs. Sorry if I have missed something but where can I find the details of the "When The Fun Stops project" Hey Daronl, best thing would be to check my ...

Back in Barry - Set 1
Great set, I‘ve never been myself there but feel like your images tell me the story, sadly one familiar to a few other places.

Back in Barry - Set 1
Great set, I‘ve never been myself there but feel like your images tell me the story, sadly one familiar to a few other places. Totally true. I guess it's the same the world over with the small seaside resort towns. What once was the thing to do, now sadly isn't.

Back in Barry - Set 2
Great eye for detail and for focussing in on that. Not sure I would have the eye (or courage) to do that - turning something mundane into an object of interest.

Back in Barry - Set 2
Another great set, I might even prefer „Everyone‘s a Winner“ to „Great Food“ in the previous set.

Stigma
A wild and weird experiment with extreme macro. It's the stigma of a flower on one of Mrs L's African Violets. Stack of 20 images taken with a Q-S1 attached to Pentax Auto Bellows A with a Laowa 25mm 2.5-5x macro (at 2.5x) on the other end. Back of the bellows moved to shift focus. Magnification...

A Very Yellow Macro
Another wild and weird ultra-macro. It's the tip of an anther of a flower on one of Mrs L's African Violets (the same flower as yesterday's stigma). Magnification at sensor about 10x (possibly more). The yellow background is another (OOF) anther. A stack of 90 shots. It won't win prizes for sharpnes...

Pentax K1 records Donegal in Timelapse
Thanks for all the kind comments, much appreciated. Living in Donegal, which is one of the wettest and windiest parts of Europe, it can be hard to capture timelapses. Capturing sunrises and sunsets can be frustrating as often nothing happens in sky and you have to go back another day. Wind often...

Another new website
How can they enforce that though? If you are there through being self employed and not contracted by the organisers, and are photographing people within a public space whilst stood on public space, then you can legally photograph anyone you want (within reason). GDPR from what I know about it, is...

A Schneider Radionar 105mm that missed the scrap bin by a whisker.
Some people really mistreat things. In this case a Prontor shutter containing a Schneider Kreuznach f4.5 105mm lens. It was doubtless sluggish, as many of them are so the silly so and so oiled it! (They are designed to run dry). I only use them on DSLRs after doing an M42 conversion on them so, as l...

It's certainly Winter
Never seen them massed like that. It must be amazing to stand amongst them. ~ During the 2018 superbloom they were so thick on the hillsides, motorists were parking along the interstate highway to get out and photograph them, which is not permitted except for emergencies. "No Parking" signs have ...

Two Views Of A Leaf
Tradescantia Zebrina is grown for its leaves, so it was its leaves that were crying out to be photographed. And here are two totally different pictures. Both focus stacks with K3 + Sigma 70mm macro @ 1:1. Natural light from the left. Thoughts, comments etc. welcome as usual. 1. 2. ...

Wembury, Devon.
I like the colours of the rocks in the first two photos. They change an otherwise fairly ordinary picture into something rather special :). You now need to go back there when the light is different - any chance of catching the rising or setting sun illuminating the rocks? Steve

Wembury, Devon.
Thank you for the comment, I did tweak up the contrast somewhat as you say an ordinary pic, just out walking with SWMBO which is almost daily - weather permitting. To go back in better light would be a proper photo-shoot and that requires a pass out card from the missus. :) oh and I might get wet fe...
