Own Printing or Outsourced....Poll
I'm with Gwyn. Everything I have the means to print at home, I print. Everything I can't do myself I send to REPUTABLE labs. prefferibly PRO labs. I had one bad experience with a lab copying and selling my work a few years back, and try hard to keep my work under my control.

Own Printing or Outsourced....Poll
I've used Bonusprint for various photos and had a nice mug made for my girlfriend. The only time they have let me down is when I sent them a dark and moody photo and it came back light and jolly. Actually, light and over exposed... As always, courses for horses. For snapshots that the family want...

(catching a cold sucks...coughing is hell). Yeah my neck and shoulder hurt. but not all the time. mostly in the mornings. and no, I d...

Joke someone told me last night
A rabbit walks into a pub and says to the barman, 'Can I have a pint of beer and a Ham and Cheese Toastie?'. The barman is amazed but gives the rabbit a pint of beer and a ham and cheese toastie. The rabbit drinks the beer and eats the toastie, he then leaves. The following night the rabbit retu...

WHAT - YOU - WANT - FOR - CHRISTMAS ?
Fear?? maybe another word Father. They haven't given us anything to be afraid of for nearly 1000 years! and then it was only because they snuck in the back door while we were busy thrashing the Scandinavians up North as I recall (the A1 shuttle wasn't invented then...) :D

WHAT - YOU - WANT - FOR - CHRISTMAS ?
Well this "what do you want for Christmas" thread, seems to have turned into a reminder of the bitter emnity between the English and the French and the Vikings  so before it degenerates any further may I get back on topic and say what I would like for Christmas... "Peace and Goodwill to al...

Traveling Canada
Just came back from "No Internet Land" and what do I see? Don on new wheels? Man, that Gerri! Great deal! When you get into Quebec, you'll only be about 50K from either my city or country place. When you tire of my hospitality (and George's Bowmore recommendations), I'll take you up to Pent...

Hi from a newbie
Hi all As I’ve just registered on this forum, I thought I’d take a few moments to introduce myself. I’ve dabbled in photography from my teenage years, though never really more than holiday shots and family events. Going back 10 years or so I moved from a Canon AE1p (a present from an uncle wh...

Hi from a newbie
Welcome, Steve. Liked the Lake District series - and it looks like you took the same route up Haystacks that I did back in the Spring. A few in with very similar viewpoints so some of yours. A cracking walk, that.

WINDOWS OR MAC.???
All other Net/Browsing stuff will be on a laptop. But isn't the net and browsing where you'll get all the viruses etc? So if you have a sacrificial laptop for that then you have a free choice for the desktop? I'd be curious to know how often the Mac users here have reinstalled their OS. Mike...

WINDOWS OR MAC.???
I used to have a windows computer a few years back, and every six months or so, even with virus checkers, i'd still need to get my system wiped and set it up again... In the beginning of 2006, i was given a mac (through an online learning program) and i've had it ever since, the only problem i've ha...

WINDOWS OR MAC.???
I actually prefer to use headphones when Skypeing - the whole world needn't hear my conversation. If I want others to join in then I put the speakers on instead. I now have a Vista machine and have had no problems with it whatsoever, I am really happy with Vista, I actually prefer it to XP. Turning...

WINDOWS OR MAC.???
Tooks, completely understand where you are coming from, but I can only go on my personal experience. We have 6x Windows machines in our shop, one of which I would describe as decent that is dual booting XP & Vista, not to mention the 8 core Vista 64 machine at home (otherwise known as the Mac Pro!) ...

WINDOWS OR MAC.???
What are Macs like (under Windows) for running something like Crysis? Well, went shopping on Sunday and came back with a Windows version of Bioshock as at £15 for the metal boxed limited edition, thought it would be worth trying out PC games on the MAC running 64bit Vista, to see how viable it was. ...
