Submit a report?? Really?? Is it just me or am I getting really old-fashioned when I see things like this? What's wrong with reading the complaints on the forum like everyone else, doing some investigative work instead of sitting there waiting for the inbox to ping? Why should we have to go t...

We used to have a small icon alongside each thread that took us stragiht away to the 1st new post in that thread, very easy to use, almost a necessity, now thats gone too! Hi Danny, just got in and had a look at the forum, and it's obvious that the change hasn't been welcome! You asked earlie...

By the way, I'm finding the 'new post' button to be working at the moment, but haven't tried logging out and back in again yet. Dan

I think the main issue with the ads (forgive me if I'm wrong :?) is that with the fixed size of the page, they won't shove off to one side when a large image is posted. Images are now resized to a maximum of 550 pixels on the longest side. I don't understand this. There aren't any large images n...

[quote:3496ace15f="Daniel Bridge"] I have to say I felt there was a dealine the guys were working to. I also have to say that this forum is essentially a business. It's run by Magezine Publishing Ltd, it's not a charitable home for Pentaxians, so it's only fair and reasonable for them to try to c...

Hi everyone, As you can see we have brought back to post counts and user levels on your comments. I want to concentrate on the other major bug, the new post indicator. If you guys can help describe how this worked it would be very helpful. Thanks, David

The usual thing is if you make the slightest change you will upset people. It happens all the time, but if you give it time to become familiar and suggest things that you found useful with the old system, rather than be insulting, we will accomodate everything we can. So we have a safe, and much mor...

please put them ALL back. We'd rather not waste time adding features that are never used. Please let us know what you used that's now missing.

Just a question about the 'new posts' feature that appears to be missing. We have implemented the bright green icon and bolding of the topic for this...is it missing something somewhere. As far as we can tell it works the same. Excellent - and you gave us our number of post back as well - good job d...

We are currently considering the options for larger photo browsing. As for the artifacts in the logo. This is done so the graphics of the site don't have a significant effect on the load time of the site. On the old forums the logo was actually up-scaled from a smaller version therefore making it bl...

For me the green icon comes on only if new posts arrive while I'm logged in. If I log out and then come back to the forum, any new posts that have been submitted when I was logged out, don't show up as 'green' or 'bold', so it's hard to see new posts. This worked for me earlier, just after I said I...

But I think what it's doing is downloading the images from their sources first, rather than after the pages have loaded, as when the page did appear, all the images were visible. Normally the page would open and then the images would download, which I think is better - it seems quicker. Well obvi...

I quite like it, You would expect to get a few bugs at first but give it a couple of weeks and you will have forgotten the old forum. I for one would like to have the country and/or city of each member put back under thier avatars. If i am conversing with someone from Kikatinalong and I am clo...

...After about five posts you get rid of those adds. And what remains?? So much blank unused space... Maybe they could use less horizontal space and more vertical space on the right edge of the page... I'll have to come back and post comments on the redesign after I've had a chance to see more (be...

It makes me wonder how you lot ever switched to digital cameras. Not wanting to go off topic here, but as one of the early adopters, and writing about it in the magazines back in 1995 I was staggered by the lack of adopting to the new format. Yes in the early days of 320x160 resolution it was disapp...

I'm afraid that I must say, that in all my years using the internet (i.e. since about 1988 ), this has to be the worst looking and most impossible to navigate and follow forum I've ever seen or used now. I'm not sure whether it'll be worth posting here anymore. The web standard is vBulletin, phpB...
