He couldve at least taken a photo that was properly in focus, I can barely read the words on the barrel of the lens because of camera shake  After what i went through with him it was obvious he didn't know one end of a camera from another, so i won't hold that against him. :?

Home made monopod?

Well, got back from vacation with my home made monopod. Worked great! No way I could have had a tripod there. A few dorky images from one evening, but you get the idea. One was at 2 seconds, the other at 1.5 seconds, both at f2.8. I was quite pleased wit the results. Some camera movement visi...

Form Digital SLR to Film SLR

I have now been using a digital SLR for about 18 months and recently ran a film through an old film camera (an MV). There was a thread some time that was indicating that some of us when using a film camera were forgetting that some of the features common to digital were not there. However, I was d...

Image usage

Thanks for your comments, no problem, a vote is not necessary I wanted comments just as much. AppleTV is a box attached to the TV, which allows viewing of images in iPhoto. This is where I do some of my editing at least when nothing much has to be done. So for each shoot there is a gallery. Very con...

Why do people spend money on photoshop?

But adobe does not give away, nor allow you to give away it's software. If you got one for free...MUMS the word. javascript:emoticon('') Almost correct. They allow firms like HP, Epson etc to "give" away PSE when buying a scanner. But that is never the latest version, and the comp...

Why do people spend money on photoshop?

if any one would like a copy let me know. THAT is the statement that's the problem. You are offering illegal software. Whether the Photoshop you have on your PC is legit is irrelevant. You cannot go offering a copy of licensed software... If you read the agreement from Adobe you are only allowed...

The problem is that the oldies  who started out on FP4 or K64 made sure, everything was checked, double check...

New forum Style

Logged out, logged back in 20 or so mins later, there are a few new posts, but it hasn't told me on the main forum screen. User names are not with avatars, they are in with the posts, makes it harder to see than it was before. So I'm not sure where 'long needed update' comes from, for me it wa...

New forum Style

Just had a quick look through the photos section, some are so heavily pixelated from what they were, it's off putting, and I'm sure as heck not going to click on each picture to see it properly, way way WAY too time consuming. Went straight from here back to main forum page like I normally do, no...
