[quote:3496ace15f="angerdan"]Seems like Pentax switched from HDMI mini (C) to micro (D) since K-5. For which i could use the Nokia CA-156 adapter.

An short adapter gives more flexibility than an fixed HDMI cable.

Thanks for that angerdan and thanks to everyone else who has tried to help. As almost every U-Tube video I've watched uses a Canon camera I've bitten the bullet and bought and older Canon. If that doesn't work I'll pop it on eBay as I won't be buying any lenses for it. I do like my K-70 and K-3 which I'm keeping so can still be a member of the Pentax User Forum. Should it work OK for what I want to do it will be a permanent fixture to my microscope

You sound very anti Adobe John yet millions of people use the software. I gree with the way they put unwanted stuff in the installers, I've been caught out with that myself, but usually read the notices that come with the software. You have reminded me of my first "real" computer. A Victor 286 with 640k ram. I was able to buy a used hard drive for it, an MFM 10Mb and thought Wow I'll never use all the. Didn't have a mouse, needed a chip to go on the motherboard, but it was great fun playing Solitaire on a green screen using the cursor keys, If I'm honest computing was a lot more fun in those days.

Well i store all my photos the same way Stan, on a seperate hard disc. I dont use any of the cloud facilities.
I don't think you are alone there. Saying that though what is the PPG or any sort of web site. I think I have a few images scattered about in various places. Wouldn't know if any have been "stolen"

Got one from £1land. Does not fit the K-70 as mini end slightly different shape/size. Worth a pont for a quid though. Bound to be something it will fit. Thanks anyway

Fingers crossed things running smoothly and I never let the truth ruin a good story. Played with various versions of photoshop, can't get used to LR as it downloads whatever I was working on when etc. I know I should get organised with LR but it's just too easy to buy another big usb drive and store images on there

Stan, is that ppi high enough for good prints? I am not saying it is not but most online labs require/suggest 300 ppi ?
No, it's just the required size for Digital Projected Images, like a slide show only with digital images. It's a requirement for our competition projections. Full size prints are at 300 ppi but if entered in a competition have to ba accompanied by a DPI on usb key or cd. 72ppi doesn't print too well. The sizes I quoted are just for the local clubs here in the north but could vary in different parts of the country.

The club competitions I enter any DPI is resized when possible to 1050px tall x 1400px wide @ 72ppi. Of course some subjects look better square cropped so when possible I use 1050px x 1050px @ 72ppi.. As stated elsewhere the crop tool comes into it's own. I automatically sharpen after resize
