Although I am considering a Full Frame mirrorless I would prefer to stay with Pentax rather than have to get new glass too. One thing I am wondering is the Tamrom 10-24mm FF compatible with the K-1, has anyone used it. I don't think mine has been out since getting the Pentax 16-50mm and that weighs a ton hence the downsizing. On my last walk about I had the K-3 (gripped) and I certainly knew it by the end of the day. Now down to comparing weights of various options and haven't ruled out the K-1 yet.

I'm really pleased you sold the 50-135 Gareth. I was so tempted but am toying with reducing the weight of my kit, which may involve leaving Pentax altogether.

So at last I'll be able to take photos in the coalhouse, with the door closed. The price of a slightly used K-1 is looking attractive, by Christmas it may be in reach

I note the K-1 can be had Used with low shutter count, so if purchasing what would be a genral purpose lens to start with (without selling a kidney). Have an old F 50mm 1.7, and 135mm, 50mm. "M" 28mm "M" and "A". Is the Sigma 24mm "Superwide" FF? Will probably buy a WeMacro rail instead though

Have you seen RiceHigh's chart?

No Barrie, haven't seen RiceHigh's chart have seen Pentax PriceHigh for going full frame

To be honest I can't see my photography improving any as I don't get out and about like I used too also eyesight has deteriorated a bit more to the extent I have my microscope connected to a 21" monitor.

Have toyed with getting a (used) K-3ii for experimenting with star shots

One of the main reasons for not going full frame is the lens question. I was hoping, as the K-1 and K-1ii have been out a little while there might be a list of FF compatible lenses available. I think I read that the DA lenses can be used with a setting on the camera but doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a FF camera.

Thanks for the information and link. I had trees in front of me so looks slightly different. At first I thought it was some sort of Temple (far eastern )

Took this snap in Weston Super Mare but didn't get the chance to find out any more information of what this structure signifies. Any one know any details about this please?
