My first stint as a speaker at my camera club.

Did a practical demonstration of lightroom with Q&A. Followed by a presentation of 35 of my wildlife shots.

Seemed to go down very well
That is something I think I would have enjoyed Alan, especially the lightroom demo as I just don't seem to be able to get on with it.

First thing I look at in the classified is the seller's Location section, if blank it doesn't immediately bolster confidence.

Sounds a lot like parts of the Geordieland

Where is everyone?

I spent a freezing afternoon at Murrayfield yesterday. I thought the thermal underwear, rugby shirt, fleece and waterproof would be enough to keep the wind out. But it wasn't!

And the snow is back with a vengance tonight and due to continue overnight. Should make for a fun drive into work tomorrow.
Indoors out of the snow and wind

Be very careful with the little tag for opening the battery compartment. On the 3rd party grip I have it was very thin and soon broke off. Luckily I was able to use the tag from the AA battery cradle.

I think #3 in the first set and #7 in the second set are outstanding. Think I'm stuck with digital now though

I to have been struggling to get sharp images but the adapter + DA*300mm works well with video, as I found out last weekend trying it on a dipper:
Nice capture I thought the Shake Reduction
would have stopped it dipping up and down
Almost PMSL

If I had the DA*300mm I think I'd be tempted to get the Q and adapter but alas...
