No one seems to know how the images for the Gallery are selected but I would think it would be a mammoth task to sort through the uploads unless 99.9% were being discarded. I've often wondered if selection is more automated, eg., 10 thumbs up and you're in, 3 thumbs down and you're out

I think everyone is keeping their super images until the last minute

The only time I've enjoyed flying pauper class was when I was working and the company started to fly officers. Everything I carried was work related so went in the hold. It meant the difference between a 12hr train journey with at least one change or an hour/hour and a half in a plane.
Wouldn't trust my camera gear to the baggage smashers and am quite content not to visit foreign places no matter how exotic so unless I win the lottery I won't be flying anywhere any time soom

This might be a stupid question but why would you want to do it ? Unless you are doing security or interval shots. I thought that information was in the exif data anyway, but then I only point and shoot and such things aren't important except for the Monthly Competition
