K-7: Date-Time-stamp

Is there a way to get my K-7 to stamp a date or date and time on an image?

Not that I'm aware off.

Irfanview can also batch process it.

This might be a stupid question but why would you want to do it ? Unless you are doing security or interval shots. I thought that information was in the exif data anyway, but then I only point and shoot and such things aren't important except for the Monthly Competition

Taking pictures of an issue developing over time. Other kinds of record keeping.
My cheap point and shoot digital cameras offer that option(Casio and Polaroid. I know the file on the sd card is stamped with time and date, so I assumed, since the clock is in the camera, it would simply be a matter of knowing how to set it up.
Guess I was wrong.

It's a very amateur requirement. Nothing looks worse
than a photo with the date and time stamped on it.....
Well except a Video

Any Exif data can be printed on later by software.
