Re no.4, glad you like the background, as I was transported to Hansel and Gretal, when I saw her and the candies, and they were integral to the image.

I found smokers more willing to be photographed and be posed, also brakes the ice when asking to snap them.
John, I was surprised how my confidence grew , and how few failures I had, once I started to look more carefully at the people around me. I was trying a few new techniques for me, i.e continuous shooting, and with the 8-16, using pre focus and TAV.
Out of 292 exposures I have kept 90, which allowing for repeats, I was really happy with.
The ladies in no.5 were quite a laugh once approached.
Hope you liked some of the others in threads from the same day.
