No6 is a corker, great set

Smoking is pretty disgusting (coming from an only partially reformed smoker!) BUT - it is an absolute gift to photography! No. 4 and no. 6 for me, both have a cinematic quality. The cigarette is as unflattering as the overdone make up in no. 6, but what a fascinating shot it creates!

Wow Nigel, you are certainly very productive at the moment- these are the best street shots you have posted- 4 and 6 for me.

# 5 is a real slice of 21st century- smoking outside in the cold and a can of red bull.

Hi folks and thanks for the comments.
I found smokers more willing to be photographed and be posed, also brakes the ice when asking to snap them.
John, I was surprised how my confidence grew , and how few failures I had, once I started to look more carefully at the people around me. I was trying a few new techniques for me, i.e continuous shooting, and with the 8-16, using pre focus and TAV.
Out of 292 exposures I have kept 90, which allowing for repeats, I was really happy with.
The ladies in no.5 were quite a laugh once approached.
Hope you liked some of the others in threads from the same day.
