Brother-in-law housesitting in Carcassonne for three months - says they just got a dumping of snow !
Just bl**dy cold here - Cyrils everywhere ( 5 this afternoon )all male and demanding nuts !
Bath running and duck legs with plum and hoisin sauce in the oven - COME ON ANDY - up reasonably sharpish for the final tomorrow.

I`ve just discovered my notification had not been renewed - sorry , been a bit tied up this week with bone scan and stuff - and a new washing machine to fit and breadmaking and watching Michel Roux`s Service - about time the waiters got a look in ( ex head waiter/restaurant manager/sommelier )it is an honourable profession and underrated in the UK.

Sunny and cold here - Jo gone to watch Black Swan with ditzy girlfriend - I`m having a Glen Campbell retrospective followed by Buddy Holly and recovering from ANDY MURRAY`S amazing fightback at Melbourne - come on you Brit !!!!

SmutjeUK - I have been an Ebayer now for many years and if it helps listen to this little tale.....................................I bid on a Sigma 28-300 lens from Hong Kong and a "reputable" company - I won the lens for 99p - honest - plus post & packing and paid by Paypal immediately.Over the next couple of weeks I was told it had been dispatched,sent a completely bogus tracking number,told that it was on the way and eventually that it must have been "lost in the post" and the company would claim on their insurance and refund my purchase cost and postage!
When I complained to Paypal/Ebay they said I had not "lost out" as the company had given me a full refund !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sharp practice ? Con ? Dodgy selling ? Apparently not ! I let it drop `cos there was nowhere to go - very reminiscent of the Irish fella who sold 1000 tickets at £10 for a dead racehorse and when the winner complained he gave him his money back !

Well I`ve got 5 Cyrils and at a £1 a bag roasted in the shell - worth every penny in entertainment and photo ops and hollow tine aeration of the lawn !!
