Oh dear !!

I have to concur with techno & pink & greytop - it might be ok for teenies to have colour co-ordinated covers for their i-berries or blackpods or Nokia teasmades - but is there really a call for this sort of naffness amongst the Pentax camera fraternity ?
I was quite taken aback when I saw a white lens and a silver one - lol - but this is a step too far.
Sorry but as an ex-Michelin masterchef it would be like me selling chips and cheese melts to stay in business ! Better to fold and open a chippy rather than prostitute oneself.

Like I keep saying - it`s probably an age thing !!

Hi bwichmawr

my sort of photo - tells a story and gives a feeling of time passed by and things done.Love the textures, colours and striations too.

Hi vj

I too got a Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro Super - nice lens and handy for trips where too much kit is prohibitive. The Pentax FAJ 75-300 AL is still my favourite though as it is lighter to hold.
My Signa Aspherical AF 28-300 also is a heavy little blighter but a cracking lens when I`m out and about - bit wobbly when unsupported at the long end ( might be an age thing again ! )
PS.cop daughter got her exam this week - helicopters and incidents abounding - she reckons the penny has dropped regarding M Tv Av etc ( more than I could do when she was 18 - more MTV !! ) shame it is with a Ca*o* D.

Hi ellepi,

I have an SP1000 complete with original box and receipt,ERC,strap, body cap and in mint condition - it`s sat in the drawer these days - make me an offer ? It really is a beautiful camera and I have had great pleasure using it over the last 30 years - I now have an *istD and a K20D to support................................

Regards

The only 28~80 I have is a Pentax-A Zoom 1:3.5~4.5 Macro which I got with my ME Super back in 1992 - not too heavy and very crisp action.I used it regularly for about 6 years until the MZ5n was acquired and I tended to go for the 80-200 F .
I also have a 35-80 FA in silver which , in comparison , feels like a kiddies toy ( although the lens is actually sharp ).

Any offers welcome as it is sitting in the drawer along with all the other goodies these days !
