I have to say,after all my burbling on the coloured camera debate,that the brown is a very satisfying colour - almost gives the feeling of an expensive sports car interior................I can understand what alfiemoon was getting at even if I don`t want to think about it lol

Most of my gear over the years was bought from either mail order through AP or latterly Ebay.
I used Jessops on a couple of occasions for accessories and an MZ50 for my daughter.
Fairs Cameras in Birkenhead were always a good place to buy 2nd hand stuff.
MXV at Uckfield were good too ( now defunct - my daughter lives in the next road and spotted a skip outside the premises on her way home one night.It was full of "stuff" - sadly it was p**ing down with rain and she reckoned whatever was in there would be ruined - skip gone next day ! ).
As I really cannot afford BNIB , I have bought my *istD and K20D from ebay sellers and have had great bargains both times.I used to subscribe to Jessops Classic Camera newsletter but their prices were horrendous.
As to the tap water John , at least it used to taste of nothing when it was from the rates - ours here in Wirral tastes like a Municipal swimming baths after a busy session and smells accordingly !!

Tee Hee - spot on my friend - and ................except for 12" b/w tv ( Bush ),Zubes,liquorice root,1/3 pint of milk on the school radiators to be drunk with a straw at break time,78s,Box Brownies,leather footballs and dubbined boots,Gollys on jamjars,Radio Luxembourg,The Light Programme,Real Bank Managers,new build detached 4 bedroom house and 1/2 acre of land @£2500,petrol 3/6d gallon (17 1/2p),wages at less than £7 per week,pint of Guinness at 1/7d,20 cigarettes at 2/- ( 10p and no health warning )Ford Prefects,bus conductors,steam engines,corridor trains,British Empire,respect for elders,teachers,doctors,politicians,parents,servicemen,bankers,outside loos,trams........................oh sorry...............nurse says it`s time for my medication again.............................lol
