Notice how " retired chef " is keeping well out of this thread ? !!!

Tony

Nope - none of those either !! Eateries that is !We have a Dominos near us - £10 ( yes £10 ) for a pizza ??????? ) I don`t think so !! Used to go into Wimpey bars as a student though !And the now defunct Berni Inns ( great value for money ).

Brief Encounter was great and Ferris B even greater - not a fan of Orson Welles - sorry robbie

Tony

I`ve NEVER been in a McDonald`s - or a KFC - or seen A Sound of Music or Gone with the Wind !!!!!!!

T

Having been in " catering " for all my working life, from 17 until I was 62 , I never had the opportunity to be " sick " . My old boss used to say ( I lived in a "cupboard" on the 6th floor of the hotel ) " get down here on duty if you`re still breathing " - and of course I did.............
As a self employed businessman there was no point in being sick as there was no other way to earn a living. When I joined a large hotel group I was so busy I accrued 50 lieu days in 5 years of employment just trying to get the place built up and successful - so much for loyalty - they made me redundant 2 1/2 years later and I never did get my days back - more fool me !!

I sometimes wonder who has the right answer and who was the mug !

Tony

The number of folk in this country who do NOT work - either because they are retired, cannot find employment,or just enjoy sitting on their posteriors and collecting the lavish handouts from the "soft" government - really begs the question ......" who actually has these days off ? "

It`s not more holidays that are needed but more production whilst at work in order to get us back on track !

End of non party political rant !

Tony ( retired )

Just what I`m now experimenting with ( see Evolution )- really interesting too - I`m trying 3 tubes with the 100mm Macro Tak and the Asahi bellows with the 135mm SMC Tak.

Tony

Ooooh that`s luvverly !!

Tony

Another set of BEAUTIFUL photos Andrew - I am in awe

Tony

Stefan - mine are always handled through Picasa 3 but I have to upload to Flickr through My Documents/My Pictures and the EXIF seems to get lost in between.
As others have said, I would be mortified if anyone thought there was any underhandedness , the PUF is one of my pleasures in life and I would not jeopardize its integrity for the world.

Regards

Tony

Yeah but no but yeah but - it`s 4-35pm BST and the traffic driving past has sidelights on already ????
