Get a set of tubes (or two) with contacts instead that way you can control the lens from the camera.
Don't think you can control M lenses, can you?

I would just opt for a close up filter (use thread larger than 49mm + step up ring so that the lens can use the center and sharpest with least distortion part of the filter). Much less painful to use and easy to remove.

Any opinion? I'm able to get the 28-300 for about £100. Worth it?
Sorry for terse MSG, sent from phone.
Cheers.

For some unknown reasons, all my bird-related pictures have been rejected from PPG. They must have secret hatred for winged animals.

If anyone has one to sell, please let me know. I prefer long macro lenses (more than 100mm).
Cheers

I gave up browsing for lenses a while ago. Now I just save a few specific searches and check from there.

Some macros taken with Tamron 70-300 f4.0-5.6. Pretty decent for 70 quids.

The DA 35 Ltd may also be suffering from the DA 35/2.4. While the Ltd may be better, a lot of people will surely look at the prices and go for the cheaper lens.
I did. I also looked at image quality... Pentax would do well to bring out a series, 18mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, and 85mm all budget primes, all plastic all with comparable image quality...
Yup, then I can buy the ltd equivalents at lower prices.
