I would just opt for a close up filter (use thread larger than 49mm + step up ring so that the lens can use the center and sharpest with least distortion part of the filter). Much less painful to use and easy to remove.

Try searching with something like 'pentax k macro reversing' on ebay and you will soon find a few.

A good place for various adapters and bits and pieces is SRB Griturn. I bought a couple of reversing rings from them and coupling rings too. Good quality and quick postage compared to ebay sellers the other side of the world!

Want to give reverse macro a go with my k-x, and have managed to pick up a cheap SMC Pentax-M 50mm f1.7 on ebay, so I'm now on the lookout for a 49mm reversing mount
Does anyone have one going?
