Pentax k-5

I have finally saved enough to consider a 645D but need to clear out my current gear before she-who-must-be-obeyed allow the upgrade.

So here they go! All prices include free postage for mainland UK. Buyer pays fees if Paypal.

I'm open to any sensible offer - feel free to make an offer via PM.

I will create a post each for every item with more pictures so you can inspect the conditions. All were kept like treasure.

Remaining:
* Tamron Adaptall-2 90mm f2.5 macro lens (52B version, built like tank) with 2X teleconverter. The TC comes with a rare Tamron case (see picture!). £120
* Pentax 28-70 f4.0 £60
* Pentax DA 35mm f2.8 macro limited. Bought from SRS 28/03/2011. Boxed with paperworks and case. £250

Below are all for sale. Price does not include shipping and I'm open to reasonable offers and I'll give discount if you buy multiple items.
Reason to sell: I need some money so unfortunately will have to sadly part with these.
All lenses are in fantastic working condition. I always have protective filters on my lenses so you can be sure the front glass is pristine. Definitely no fungus. The older lenses may have dust which do not affect image quality.
Pictures are at the end of the post. What you see in the pic is what you will get (minus the table surface :lol

* Tamron Adaptall-2 90mm f2.5 macro lens (52B version, built like tank) with 2X teleconverter. The TC comes with a rare Tamron case (see picture!). £120
* Adaptall-2 to PKA adapter. This is a very rare version which allows aperture control from the body (e.g. allowing you to frame wide open and only stop down when actually taking the pic). Most/all of those you see on ebay are PK only i.e. no aperture control from body. Note that due to age, after mounting, you may need to turn it slightly back for the contact to work perfectly. £40

* Pentax 28-70 f4.0 £60
* Pentax DA 18-55 f3.5-5.6 WR. Bought from SRS 02/04/2011. £40
* Pentax DA 35mm f2.8 macro limited. Bought from SRS 28/03/2011. Boxed with paperworks and case. £250

I take bank transfer or Paypal (payer pays fees).

1. Sigma 8-16 f4.5-5.6
2. Sigma 50-150 f2.8
3. Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6
4. Pentax 35mm Ltd
5. Tamron 52B (90mm f2.5 macro) + 2x adaptall2 teleconverter

So for some reasons, I don't really use much Pentax lenses at all.
1. There is nothing as wide as the Sigma 8-16 made by Pentax.
2. The DA* 50-135 f2.8 is prohibitively expensive.
3. The Tamron is way too cheap.
4. I'm pretty sure is going to be replaced with Sigma 30mm f1.4 soon.
5. Pentax 200mm macro lens is prohibitively rare and expensive. 100mm is slightly too short.

Thanks to you guys, I bought this lens. Initial impressions are very good and it seems to suit my purpose. For landscape, stopped down, it seems to be sharp enough on the borders / corners to be usable. Wide open, it is sharp enough in the centre for indoor portraits (e.g. in restaurants).

Some unboxing pics.

The box - as usual minimalistic Sigma style.

I quite like the way Sigma includes a fitted case for all the lenses I bought.

Of course, a hood as well.

Some close up.

Full length with hood - about kit lens size

With a Hoya HD UV filter. The filter almost turns the lens into an IF type. The lens inner tube moves in and out but does not touch the filter.
