An interesting set of action shots, they carry a lot of the conditions and atmosphere of the game, you can almost feel the energy and exhaustion.

Hi Techno, wife and I too had the kayaks on the water yesterday. Only paddled about 4 miles on the rive Stour. A tree had fallen accross the river about a quarter of a mile from Willy Lotts cottage. Made a good pic though. This was the first time out in a kayak with a K10 and tamron 28 - 300 (both sacrificial if the crunch comes).

Hi Cedric, this was my first real attempt at Kayaking and boy did the tutors make me work for it. I have always been a bit wary of boats or more to the point me in charge of boats, I'm sure my wife arrived in this world with a spinnaker flapping in the wind. She managed to get me on a RYA course last year after 24 years of nagging, I ended up in casualty on the first day. So having failed to bump me off, I like a lamb to the slaughter am now signing up to the local canoe club for lessons, not sure what she will try next . I think my next purchase is going to be a waterproof housing for my Camera, as it's guaranteed to take a plunge sooner or later.

Nice set of images, I agree over number six. Maybe the slate mine would like to purchase the set.

Congratulations John, the water looks to shallow for that ship.

No complaint about the weather hear George, I was out playing in it camera in hand, I now have some possible renditions of a great sunsets and some blurry Barn Owl shots, I wish my 55-300 would not Violently refocus itself on some random twig that's 100 yards away from the subject even on spot focus. Now paying the penalty for the wine I drank last night, bumbling round the house at five in the morning feeling dehydrated.

Maybe it was "Just one wafer" to many.

If the tides are right you could also squeeze in a trip round Coquet Island from Amble £4 with Puffin Cruses, Seals, Roseate & Common Terns, Puffins, Unfortunately you cannot land on the Island.

So we can safely say you hate the Moody Blues then Alan

re Pink Floyd, dark side of the moon is the least played in my collection with The Wall following close second, IMO The Division Bell is the best album they ever produced, sorry Syd.
