If the compute is failing to turn on I would be interested to know if you are getting and POST (power on self test) beeps or if the unit is totally dormant. If you are getting beeps it could suggest that an additional component has failed or become disconnected i.e. Video card, hard drive and so on. If you are getting no power at all have you checked your external power supply, does it light up? You can usually find what drives are included in Packard Bells by searching for the model no on line (assuming you have alternate access to the internet).

Looks like everybody had a good day.
We all had a quite a good time even if the sun did not show its face until late evening. I think the Kite circling over the cafeteria finished the day of nicely for everyone. As ever it was good to catch up, look through peoples camera kit, eat & drink and somewhere find time to take some pictures.

Number 1 for me, the mist is only beginning to build and I like the looser composition compares to number 3. Love the tone.

What about an audio tone that beeps more frequent the closer you get to the right exposure or spirit level.
Something you have with gliders link
I'm sure you would be the middle point off attention
There is a bird called a Chiffchaff that has a very distinct but monotonous mono tone song, if it sounded like that my Pentax would be in the nearest river.link.

The first thing I did was to turn off all the bleeps for some reason the wildlife does not like it.

Thanks Mike

If you can hear a strange chomping sound it's me eating my words Although I still would prefer the option for this to turn off in manual mode. I relate better to a moving scale than some tiny numbers pushed on the right of the screen.
