My intention is to arrive at 7:00 traffic willing, last time Gareth and I had a breakfast in Sandgate, part of the old town, first café on the right hand side coming from the bridge.I am not sure what time they open. We could meet up hear link

At first the lack of a SR switch on the K7 frustrated, however I tend to leave the SR enabled and when I mount the camera on a tripod switch on the two second delay or IR mode options, this turns off the SR automatically. I do agree about the memory card slot placement, it drives me nuts.

One question, why K5 and not K8 if it's an improvement on the K7?

Well thanks folks I appreciate the comments.

I have just realised with horror that I will now have put my ugly mug on the PPG site, all those going to Whitby stand up and form an orderly queue , no photos while Alan is showing me the handshake or while I'm wearing the "sacred camera strap"

Edit [bother that's another secret out in the open, I shall be booted out quicker than I got in.]

Well I am very surprised to see that I have had my first two images excepted on the Pentax Photo Gallery, personally I did not think they would get excepted, but who am I to judge.
