I think it will fair good against the Dell monitors.
Interesting review I will have to digest that one.

I am looking ant anything up to the £400 mark. I am very familiar with the Dell range of monitors but wondered what other monitors people were using. Also are the lower end Eizo monitors worth a look

I am currently looking into purchasing a new monitor for photo editing and as a bit of market research wondered what make and models people are using and what they think of it. Incidentally I am looking at the lower end of the market.

One of the best swan shots I've seen in a while. Great light and composition.

The only places I have purchased from on the last few years have been internet based as my nearest shops are Jessops & Jaccobs, both no use whatsoever. I did try Charles Eagles and Son in Durham but they had no Pentax stock (Strange for a pro dealer) and wanted to charge me £125 for a £70 camera bag. Another shop that has sadly vanished was Geoff Mash in Darlington, now that was a great little place to visit.

We have three in Edinburgh: Jessops, Jacobs and Calumet. Not a second hand shop within a hundred miles.
So do Camerabase not exist in Edinburgh, they used to be on Morningside Road ?

Welcome Martin, if you are looking for second hand SRS Microsystems are well worth a look.

It will only be a day for me, I just cannot justify the cash. The Goth event is a great venue to practice portrait photography, although I am inclined to agree with Barry, a bit if a change would be nice.
