Not sure it has anything to do with photography either

This is getting more and more interesting

Half the class was on looking at last week's action/movement pics and then we went for a walk round the new Main Building of the College - idea being to get us looking at composition - great fun staircases , curved walls all sorts of interesting bits and pieces , I even managed to get the reflection of some of the class on various curved walkways , in the curved glass wall at the main entrance.

Homework - to find an interesting building / or Park and do the same again .

Hmm - looked out of the window - white stuff coming down and by the look of the sky there's more up there than I want . Think today will be in the house

Yes - spoke to the tutor tonight and showed him this - he looked , and thought , and said do not remove the wires

I asked for his reason - and like all of us said that they served a purpose there - one time when you break all the rules and it works better.

He's right - I had a fiddle with it and removed the wires [ had duplicated it ] and the photo was completely different - not nearly as interesting.

Thanks guys

When I first spotted it the sky was in layers - going from pale cream at the bottom behind the roofs and darkening slightly to pale blue higher up - it was fantastic - so I grabbed the camera and by the time I got it up and ready for action - that was what had happened . Somehow I managed to avoid getting the street lights [ goodness knows how ].

Now the problem is - as I understand it the telegraph wires are normally considered a distraction - BUT do I shift them or not - my worry is that the pic could then become 'flat' . To me the wires that are there are giving some perspective .

Carry on - your thoughts are welcome [ but for my first one on public view be gentle - I've a HUGE amount to learn ]

Now if someone could please explain in simple terms [ since I have tried to follow John's tutorial and it doesn't work for me ] how to get the photo to actually display I would be grateful.

taken earlier this week .

I have some thoughts re doing a few tweaks - but would like other opinions before I state my ideas .

This was almost an accident - it wasn't what I had intended to take - but by the time I got outside the rapidly changing light had indeed changed again

Theres a square bracket missing at the beginning of your tag - which may have caused the non appearance of your pic - but what do I know - I am unable to get mine on no matter what I do

Don't put it on Flickr - but contact the police and say you have photos taken at the time - they may well be interested as by the time they got there, I'm quite certain things had been moved .

Your pics should help them get a reasonable idea of what happened and where people / cars etc were.

BTW - these are no longer RTAs [ Road Traffic Accidents ] I'm told - but Road Collision Incidents - someone was to blame for the collision - the meeting of Cyclist and car / or whatever he hit , or was hit by
