Follow up from my previous post regarding problem with GR. If I download direct from Camera memory with USB cable (card removed), no problem with image display. If I use card in PC slot all RAW come out in colour, not as set on camera (Hi Contrast B&W). JPEG fine in both cases.

Regards again John

Hi all. Received my GR. Very pleased. But. Strange thing, (maybe it's me not in the first flush of youth), having taken several shots in B&W High contrast RAW, the image on the screen appears as B&W, however when I load the images onto my PC they appear in colour. If I then take the same shots as JPEG they appear in B&W on both GR screen and PC. Have I missed something? Using PNY Optima 2gb SD card. No problems with this card in K5. Hoping someone will understand what I am describing and help.

Regards to all John

Done and very happy to do so.

Well guys on the strength of your comments and reviews I have ordered GR + case from SRS. £569.00. Happy so far. Time alone will tell.

Regards to all. John

No. 10, great, but I don't know why:

A beautiful lens, use mine on LV for stunning IQ, bought mine 2 months ago or I would definitely have bought this one. Buy it, good price for a great lens.

Very nice. 3 & 7 for me.

Crackin shots, takes me back to Thruxton in the 80s, all the camera guys would be on the chicane, rider got it all wrong and hit the barriers to our left, tyres, bodywork etc going in all directions, we all thought thats it then; 2 minutes later he appeared, helmet in hand, saying, "anybody get that then?"

Thanks Chris, just the advice I was hoping for.

John.
