I just phoned my local independant camera shop to enquire about the sigma and tamron lenses and the person there told me that these two macro lenses would not be suitable for a digital pentax camera when using for macro work. He said that they are full frame lenses and this would mean that I wouldn't get the same macro results on my camera.
Can anyone shed any more light on this for me please?

Hopefully I'll get to take some better pictures when ive got a little more time.

I took several photos and entered a few in this years BWPA awards(young photographer section)
The picture below gained highly commended and was in this years book.

My image looks like the only one taken with pentax kit, all the others were Canon and Nikon. My prize for a highly commended photograph was a free book

I havent had the scope very long and only had two or three clear nights since July.
I took this last night between clouds so didn't have much time. It was literally a case of point the scope attach the camera and shoot.
Maybe when ive got more time I can do a better job.

I put a T-mount on the back of my telescope and managed to get this shot. Focusing is more difficult, this is the smallest image i could get due to the magnification.
