John/Jumbo - I was at the School of Falconry/Bird of Prey Centre at Old Warden Park near Bedford. A cool place! and the park is also home to the Shuttleworth Collection of vintage aircraft so on another day there may even have been an airshow of planes as well as birds!
There are plenty more pics on my flickr stream if anyone wants to see more.

All good Mat but 3 stands out for me - possibly because most of the others are familiar - as in - exactly the sort of Kestrel shots I have taken when I have had the opportunity (although many not as good as these) whereas number 3 has an entirely different feel and is beautifully executed

Fantastic set, especially no 2.
That Sigma Lense is fantastic (I have one ) and am very pleased to see it's just as good on a K5 as my GX20

I was using the K-5 with sigma 100-300 f4, which made an impressive combo (IMO), and also grabbed some closer-ups with the DFA 100 on my back-up K-7...
