Any REALISTIC input is welcome

This lens is now for sale.

well..
I saw one on the US Pentax Forum, but the guy wanted millions for it!
It was not even the Macro one...
Shortage definitely makes prices increase but I am still reluctant paying way too much for those Sigma lenses...the are almost the price of my Zeiss primes....what a sick joke!
Let's wait and see what comes up, who knows they may realize that some pros have small women hands (as they are women!) and need a light camera like the K10D and that those same pros need a wide array of lenses...

You're totally right...I am just considering options here:
I've been looking for a decent affordable fast lens for ages..and nothing showed up.

But I see plenty in Nikon fit or Canon fit...so maybe I'll sell my Pentax gear after all!

This is it: has anyone heard of an adapter to fit an Nikon mount AF lens to a Pentax body (K10D)?
I found a sigma 70-200mm Nikon mount as it is impossible to get a Pentax mount...and would need to use it on a K10D
Thanks

thanks for the input.
I've heard of a Tamron at 2.8 but haven't seen one already.
Is it like real expensive?

Hello there

I am mostly doing concert shots with my K10D, and I have been using good primes but changing lenses is a bore in a concert setting.
So bottom line I need something like 70-210mm, 80-200, or even 100-300mm with a constant aperture. 2.8 would be great but 4 would do , I guess.
Pentax, Tamron or Sigma, AF is not necessary, A is def wanted.

Ok I've made my mind: it will be a sigma 70-200 f2.8 non Macro.

Thing is, I am really broke, so if this could avoid hurting too much my wallet, I would appreciate!

Thanks a million!

Hey
I got cheap compatible batteries from China on the bay and they work absolutely fine.
I've read somewhere that Minolta's would do the dew

hope this helps

P"art 4
Sell the K100D, but keep all your lenses.
Buy a Pentax K10D, plus a Katz screen for fifty bucks
Wonder why you didn't do this in the first place.

Moral: Do your research and be realistic."

50 pounds my dear...and you definitely have some time to waste...
And for the record, all AIS lenses do fit on DSLR nikon bodies.

Thanks you I really appreciate your compassion and the time you devoted to the issue
