some of my stage pics were taken at 1.4. with a Pentax M..can't exactly tell you which though!! But check the pics's metadata at

I am currently doing concerts shots, and definitely need f:2.8.
I never take this lens outside, and have therefore no use for an f:4
But it is excellent, useless to me, but excellent and light and reliable for outdoor.
I thought I could get decent shots at f:4 and the answer is no in low light.
Sharp outiside though!
