Hi, i have an old lens from my Ricoh, a 50mm 1:1.7 Rikenon, and was wondering if i would see a great difference if i changed it for a new AF 50mm, apart from the manual side. I don't use it a lot as i usually have the 18-55 kit lens or my 70-300 Sigma on.

I have an old Sigma 70-210 which fits my kr with no problems and the mount looks different to yours, it looks like yours has lugs on the outer ring which mine dont.

Never had this sort of problem but could we not carry a small information card with the law on photography in public places on it so we could give it to anyone who does not know the law?

I think fatspider has a good point, when you save up for something you also look after it more. Photography is and never has been cheep, nor is drinking or smoking but people still do it!!!! woodworm i think you will find golf is in a class all of it's own on price.
