Nice shots Bob... the lighting on the 2nd is really good considering that it's under a tree... nice backlight on the hair. It's the better of the two pics for me. The B&W is nice, but too long and too much hat, it would probably be better with some of the hat cropped off?

Thanks Algi - interesting feedback, I'd not considered cropping for the first shot. I'll have a play later.

I'm fascinated by the tree on her Left side.

I agree - the focus isn't quite spot on for the eyes, but for me considering the style of shot, I think I get away with it.

Thought I'd put up a couple of recent shots of my 5yr old daughter. She's become quite the model!
The first shot was taken wide open with the siggy 30mm 1.4. The second was f4 with the DA* 50-135 at 50mm
