This is about the price that they are listed at in the US, so it is pretty good, around £100 less than most UK prices

People who think there will be a full-frame K-mount Pentax are seriously deluded and, frankly, not very bright. Sorry to be blunt, but the facts are very clear. Wishing for something won't make it happen.

George I am not deluded and I also don't think that there is any chance of a full frame K?, I was merely posing a question in response to the earlier post.

In my view Ben is more likely closer to the mark with his comments, which started this thread.

No offence taken, I am an avid reader of your comments, keep them coming - Steve

[quote]There is much speculation about an 18mp full frame Sony sensor coming in the Autumn. It must surely might make its way into a Pentax at some point.

I would think that this would only make sense if the new lenses support full frame. Could this be the reason for the delay?

The 24-90 and 20-35 are both available from Amazon, £349 and £392 repectively.
The 28- 80 is regularly found on EBay

If you are still considering replacing the MZ6 there is one listed on EBay at the moment, £40 starting price, no bids and 24 hours to go (I have no connection with this item or seller)

The camera and lens are probably past economical repair. A MZ6 with standard kit lens appear quite often on EBay and usually sell for between £40 and £50.
Professional repair if possible is probably 3 times that.

If you sold the camera and lens on EBay as faulty for spares or repair , you might get up to £20, if the right people are online.

Alternatively if you are feeling brave and you probably don't have too much to lose, you could have a go at cleaning the lens, you will need a good set of lens tools try www.micro-tools.com for these, a clear work area, good light and a steady hand. These lens contain several small springs and ball bearings that are easily lost, so extreme care is needed.

Don, it would be good see some of your side by side comparison shots when they are available

I have no experience of this lens, my advice would be to check out the items on Ebay and make a judgement.
I just watched a Chinon CS4 with the same lens plus 3 others and a flash fail to sell at a £10 starting price.
That said if the lenses had been listed separately as PK fit the seller may well have had some takers.
In the end it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it

Taken when out and about at the weekend, only had my mobile phone, so quality very poor. I used to take a lot of this type of shot, as it appeals to my sense of humour in a quirky kind of way.

For those interested the hairdressing salon resides above a mens clothing shop.

I like 1, 2 and 5

1. Good, but I think that it would benefit from tighter vertical cropping

2. The girl is pleasing on the eye, but it would work better for me, if there was something that linked her to time or place, rather than rows of empty chairs.

5. This I like because of the intrigue, I want to flip the image to find out what the girl looks like.

For me these are much better than the previous images you posted - well done
