Hi Doc, these images are very subdued in their colours, I believe this is due to you creating the JPEGs in Pro Photo RGB which the internet is not great at displaying. If you reload them in standard sRGB format they will have richer colours and really show what this great lens is capable of.

I know it doesn't cover proper macro, but I've seen some awesome closeups of dragonflies and the like with it and it gets it in the bag early doors. Wish I had done it.

I opened it too and the banding was there initially (Picasa viewer) then the colours changed themselves and the banding went away after a second or so.

I have my Sigma 70-200 currently connected to my K-7 with two teleconverters, with surprisingly good results!
The question is as per the title, with both the Kenko 2x connected to the lens then the Kenko 1.4 connected closest to the body. Do I get 238 - 680mm i.e. the 70 x 3.4 and 200 x 3.4

or 196 - 560mm i.e. (70 x 2) x 1.4 and (200 x 2) x 1.4

Haven't converted anyone from the big two but three people have bought Pentax K-r's from interaction with me and asking for advice on what DSLR to buy, I have also showed them the article in PC Pro magazines A-list that has now (at last) placed the K-r as their number one choice.
