Great set as usual Simon, I never manage to get a crash on camera, I used to be a marshal at the kart track and so tend to "observe" crashes then once everything comes to a stop think "damn I didn't get a shot"

My motorsport shots are here I have of late shot with a recently acquired DA*50-135, the last meeting was wet so came into its own, before that I mostly used the Sigma 70-200 OS with occasional use of the DA*300. This I found a little restrictive and only use, if I'm lucky enough to have a second body, for distance shots. I have even used the DA*16-50 on occasion for real close work. Take a look at May (The Welsh) at the back end are some shots of the winners on their lap of honour in a 1950's D Type Jag
My weapon of choice is either the 50-135 or the 70-200 depending on the weather.

Your eyes expect some converging due to perspective and to straighten everything makes the building look odd almost as if the top is "fatter" than the bottom.
The top image looks more right to my eye than the bottom one which looks like it is leaning out at the top.

A Pentax AF 1.4 converter would be an excellent addition to the Pentax line up. In terms of IQ I still believe that the A series 1.4 is better than any other 1.4 or 1.5 converter, an updated af (with sdm capability too) Pentax model with even better coatings would be welcomed by me and I suspect many others
And WR!!!

The card issue is simply the lack of room for fingers in the K-5 design. The tiny Q has more spacing and doesn't cause the same problem.

It's not a huge issue, it's just that it doesn't need to be an issue at all.
Unless you have fingers like pork sausages there is plenty of room with all the K-7 derivatives!

Am I understanding it correctly that detailed instruction is needed for the removal of an SD card from a camera?

Press gently back in to the camera and the spring mechanism will return it out. Simple.
Very simple indeed, however there appear to be many that struggle.
