Agree with you on the shape of "proper" women, but I think you should put a disclaimer on here warning people of the nudity within. Don't get me wrong I find the female shape as beautiful as the next red blooded male but I just think a little discretion is needed.

Good point but I bought the lens to use so I'll cross the selling bridge later. I like your idea about the dremel I think I'll give that a go.

A colleague of mine went to one of his gigs and had a great time. Glad to see Adam is back on form and hopefully through the bad patch he endured.

You are right Stuey they were persecuted and poisoned, this was much easier with a kite because they will readily take carrion. There was a small number that survived in west Wales and from these and the feeding station at Grigin Farm http://www.gigrin.co.uk/ the population recovered. To the point where some birds were reintroduced into Buckinghamshire.
And the rest as they say.....

This cost me just 9.99 and at first I thought I had bought a lens with the wrong mount, it looks like this. link I then tried it in one of my tubes and to my amazement it fitted so I gently put it on the K-7 and low and behold it worked, OK without infinity, but thats not what I bought it for. I then took the picture of my wife who almost always pulls a face and I couldn't believe my luck, you can actually make out the capillaries in her nose! And that was from 8 feet!
I have included a couple of other test shots and none of them have been altered in any way just jpg converted.

I am astounded by the quality although it is a little on the heavy side.

As you can see by the linked image I have taken out the centre piece because the elongated flange is preventing the lens being directly mounted to the k-7, this has allowed the lens to be mounted on the K-7 and it works beautifully. I have a question... could I cut it down and if so how would you go about it?

I have recently been trawling through my NAS drive and looking through some pictures from last year and before and to be honest there are not many I would now class as keepers. Since getting my hands on my K-7 (Jan 2010) I have taken over 40,000 shots, I think averages mean I might get some good ones eventually. Seriously though since going from a bridge to a DSLR I have to think about the shot and how to set the camera so yes I think I have improved.
Still miles to go and loads more to learn and experiment with. But loving every minute if it.

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a panic and need some advice. We had a World Environment Day special yesterday with work and some video was taken. I, being the IT bod, was nominated to edit the video down to a 5 minute clip showing the highlights. To which I duly said yes. Once I get the video off the device it is in MP4 format.
Now the advice...
What can I use that's free/cheap to edit the files.
Oh and I have till Wednesday to complete it.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve
