This one works well too. I'm sure there's plenty of fun to be had experimenting!

I like the many details waiting to be discovered, the reflections in the window (itself an opening opposing the very closed door), and the inkling of another world in what seems like a reflecting surface in the piece of furniture at the right edge of the image. Great stuff for a picture, though I'm sure it would all distract me from a tentative round of meditation!

Thanks for the kind words, Bill and Gary. Much appreciated.

Well, bouillabaisse is quite specific to Marseille, a Montpellieran would probably be offended if you asked them where to find a good bouillabaisse in their city... they would suggest that their cuisine is rich and diverse enough that no single dish could represent it alone!

Thank you, Peter. Mediterranean indeed, as these were taken on my parents' terrace in Montpellier, France (the approximate midway point between Toulouse and Marseille).

Monochrome is my favoured means of expression in photography, but the colours in these spoke up (oh so softly) and I just couldn't resist...

Great set, I like the composition of the second the most. And that last one just above is exceptional - the colours are unreal and the shape/movement of the leaf is beautiful.

That's a great set of lines, frames and reflections - well seen! (I saw the grass as green after reading that my brain could trick me into it )

Sure, the bubbles are fun, but the whole image is such a lovely abstract!

Lovely. makes me think of a poem by Thomas Hardy - "I went by footpath and by stile, beyond where bustle ends..."
