I've got the 'K' version plus two Tomioka 55mm f/1.2's
Both nice lenses as well - I've got the K version as well (which I'll now have to get rid of) and have had a Porst (Cosina designed, I think) version in the past which was fun, but not a patch on the Pentax options.

The Tomioka version seems excellent as well - I don't envy your choice!

I was going to bid but forgot all about it.
Or was it that you don't like dealing with conceited ebay sellers

"....it not only gives the brightest view in the viewfinder
I have ever seen, but pin sharp images at full aperture.

I also looks fabulous!"

Ah, but one of the advantages of an eBay transaction is that you don't need to meet the seller. Fortunately in this case, they didn't include a self-portrait with it! (and the lens arrived quickly, in good shape and hasn't left my camera since)

I found this recently while clearing up my camera stuff. I sold my GX10 some time ago, so it's now surplus to requirements.

£10 delivered to the UK (by bank transfer or PayPal, please)

Another weekend bump. Open to reasonable offers.

I've found Vistaprint very cheap and reasonable quality for calendars. The print quality wasn't bad (better than the other cheap options) and it looks like they do photobooks here.

Blurb looks at least a cut above in terms of finish, though.

Mirrorless 645D is also an interesting idea,

If they use the 645D mount, presumably it will still be quite deep but presumably they could introduce a range of 645 XS MF pancake lenses. If it brings digital MF closer to consumer prices then I'm all for it.

The 'sheep' reference refers to the fact that a lot of first time buyers of cameras 'follow the herd', (canon/nikon) rather than doing a little research to find an equally good or better alternative. One reason Pentax sell less cameras.
This certainly explains how I and, I suspect, at least a few other Pentaxians ended up with Pentax. When I bought my first DSLR, I did some research and deliberately set out to avoid Canon and Nikon so as not to follow the herd. I had planned to buy an Olympus, but was really impressed by the ergonomics of the K-m which, coupled with the larger sensor and a deal that involved a free lens swayed me to Pentax and I haven't looked back.
