Alistair[/quote]With an A lens you should not have exposure issues. Set it to the A position and control the aperture from the camera body. Over exposure might indicate slow diaphragm blades, which do not stop down enough before exposure.
The 35-70 f4 or the AF versions of this lens are reputedly the best of in this focal length range.

Thanks mate, I think I am going to go for the Samsung GX20 that I have on hold for me, I would love a K20D and grip but now I know I can get hold of a grip for the Samsung I think I would be better buying new.
