K20D & Grip £450!

To help fund the K-7 purchase our backup K20 body has to go!

This was bought 2nd hand about 3-4 months ago when I decided to go for a 2nd K20 instead of a K-7, but temptation has finally got the better of me!

Overall the condition of the camera is very good with one small mark on the very bottom left of the back LCD Lens which I have found difficult to photograph! Also there is a minor scratch on the memory card door release catch. Both very minor things overall but I do like to be very clear in my descriptions.

The camera was bought on it's own so to be clear there is no box, no manuals, no CDs and no accessories. The only extras the camera will come with are the body cap, strap, mains cable and battery charger. Maybe not an ideal purchase for a beginner, but an excellent purchase for a 2nd body, or an upgrade from a K10.

The grip is a genuine Pentax one, fully boxed. There is a small piece of plastic which was broken off of the battery tray when butter fingers here dropped it (the tray only, not the whole camera!) on the kitchen floor whilst changing the battery. It has been superglued on and has not been an issue since, if it was to come off again though, the weather sealing has not been compromised.

Grip has been owned from new and has been in use for around a year or so, so does have a couple of scratches on the base from general use. Will also chuck in a spare 3rd party battery as well.

Looking for £450 for the lot, don't want to split, UK sale only please.

Is the grip cracked? I thought you had mentioned in another thread that it was damaged?

No the grip is fine, it's the tray that holds the battery that I dropped on the kitchen floor!

If you look closely at the last 2 pictures above, specifically the tray itself, you should see a small crack there where a small piece of plastic broke off. Fiona managed to re-attach it well and hasn't caused a problem since. The good news is that it hasn't broke past the internal seal that is there for the weather sealing, so should it be broken off again it will still be completely weather proof.

Will take another shot in a sec that might be easier to see.

Thanks mate, I think I am going to go for the Samsung GX20 that I have on hold for me, I would love a K20D and grip but now I know I can get hold of a grip for the Samsung I think I would be better buying new.

To be honest, the price you're getting it for, you would be mad not to!

Thought it would be fair to mention that I have had an offer that I have agreed to accept unless a better deal is done by Friday night.

Have put that deadline on a completed sale to to postage reasons (the wife is not at work at the weekend!), and wanting to get the overdraft clear from the impulsive K-7 purchase!!
