Too Weak?. No just saying Wainwrights cart is complicated. Not minimalist. But a lot of photos accepted to be good are minimalist.. Alcohol is not the answer too very much, apart from....! Not sure about the 'Audience' bit. Very nice to see people looking at my pics. If I thought BL**DY H*LL when it came out of the camera it's just nice to have that confirmed.

DrOrloff, I still think my mind is too left sided. It takes some effort to get creative. I also used to work in scrap metal, where everything is DESTROY DESTROY., I enjoyed it

Oh and in those days, copying didn't get you to Uni. 'A' Levels was an exam 2 hours long. No way to cheat. You were on your own.

But then I will just be copying other peoples work. Like I did for homework at school..I remembered to put in the SMILEY that time, I am quite light hearted really.Oh yes I've done the K5 up the M6 through Cumbria, not easy and not really safe.

1,2 and 5 are good. IMHO the birds should have been in focus on number 2. But that would be asking a lot. Why is the picture so small when you click on it here. In the Gallery you get nearly a full screen version.

I've got no knowledge of the CS programs , Photoshop or Photomatix. To me Photoshop is changing a picture completely. I am naive at the moment. I do over do my stuff in Lightroom. But as I said I am naive. A girl friends painting was pronounced as good but naive.She took this as an insult. It took me a while to explain to her that with out any training naive was what she was.

I must get my monitor calibrated. From low down it looks good. otherwise it looks slightly washed out.. I mean that seriously. Which might explain some of my over worked photos.

I like 1,3 and 4. 2, OK it's a rainbow. Do you have Lightroom 4? You could have done a lot with the sky in number 1 and 4. Just my humble opinion. Or are you somewhat of a purist. As in take the photo with the right settings and minimal processing .
