might one of these fit the bill?

Thanks for the suggestion Steffan but I'm thinking the holster bags are not quite as discreet as I would like - the Domke F5XB also looks like another option

Continuing the search for a small bag for the K5 has anyone used the Domke F3x link or the Domke F8 link?

thanks

Certainly looks like a hot pixel, the supplier is very unlikely to replace the camera for this - have you tried running the Pixel mapping, I think it should sort it out?

I thought about this one myself but don't like this particular sentence in the T&Cs:

"use the image in future campaigns, promotions, screensaver and wallpaper packs whether related to this Competition or not"

I like to enter photo comps too myself but don't like the idea of giving the organisers the rights to do completely what they want with my photos, the only exception I make is a worthy charity

ordered 5 12x18'' with DSCL, was like £10 delivered! not sure about using the automated corrections so i ordered the same print with and without! now looking at a 18x18'' so checking the other link you sent - thanks
The safest bet with DSCL is to do all the adjustments yourself, resizing especially, and then use the "pro" option

I'm selling the Tenba messenger bag insert I bought recently to make my own DSLR messnger bag, it's "as new" never been used - I've decided I prefer a backpack.

This is the one:

http://www.mcl-media.co.uk/tenba-messenger-bag-photo-insert-for-digital-slr-came...

It fits the K5/K20D perfectly + a couple of lenses with room for filters etc.

I'm asking £14 including standard Royal Mail postage

thanks

thanks!
DSCL is very cheap for 12 x 18 so not taking much risk!
photobox i tried once and the 3 prints i ordered went straight to the rubbish bin
The DSCL "lustre" finish prints are far better than the Photobox Matt ones - better colour rendition and really work well under glass.

DSCL definitely for the 18x12 - above that size their prints aren't quite so good so personally I'd use Peak Imaging

I was going to say don't go the Pentax route with a compact as others do it much better but seen as you've bought one I won't bother - enjoy your new camera
