As well as having some wonderfully photogenic castles North Wales also has some great lighthouses to photograph, here are a few that I've captures so far:

I mount all my own photos but don't have that much time on my hands so I buy the mounts precut from Cotswold Mounts - excellent company to deal with, sell the backs and plastic bags too.

I do frame some myself too but am moving increasingly more towards leaving that to the professionals, find your local framing company and see if they'll do you a deal

Excellent set - I actually like the shed in number 2
Thanks Stuey,

I wouldn't actually have taken a shot including the shed if it wasn't for the direct sunlight, it is normally a drab looking building which you'd probably make every effort to make sure that it didn't appear in your photograph

You certainly did a good job on number 2 Simon. The hut does look loads better in your photo than usual, seems to fit into the landscape more.

I guess number 1 just has those wonderful reflections, colours and a perspective that makes Yr Wyddfa much more impressive.
Thanks....No 1 isn't the best composition ever, I was very limited by the ice on the lake surface and could only find this spot to catch Snowdon and the reflection, which I just had to fit in with those colours

Sorry but these don't really do too much for me...the problem is that there's no sense of scale or context so as I've not seen The Spire before I'm still left wondering what it is, this may not have been your intention anyway so perhaps as personal images they have more meaning

Just my thoughts

I wasn't 100% sure about the shed shot when taking it as normally it definitely does look a bit of an eyesore, what made me try the shot was the sunlight bouncing off it and the resulting saturated colours..I'm quite pleased with the results and it is a more unusual shot from a quite frequently photographed location

Thanks Andrew...I haven't slept in the car so far although I have thought about it. I do find that the winter conditions in Snowdonia are often great for landscape photography and it has the added bonus of not having to get out of bed at "stupid hour"
