Beautifully composed images there, particularly like the last two images, excellent work.

I like the one ot Penmon Point....I'm up for some serious photography up in N Wales this christmas holiday , you've inspired me Simon.

Mind you it's a shame that there's nothing worthy east of Moel Fammau to photograph

I feel a visit to North Wales is required next year!

Very nice set Simon - especially Penmon Point - that light is stunning.

Yet another lovely set Simon. What a lead in on "Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey. Tyr Mawr lighthouse"

What are you trying to say about Flint, Shotton and Queensferry

Thanks everyone, the Penmon shot was taken this very week back in 2007 during sunrise, hence the strong lighting.

I'm certainly not getting involved in the conversation above

Cracking landscape shots indeed! I like no.2 and no.3 the best

In the last photo, was the sun-star created by stopping down the lens?

A very nice set with beautiful light.

The reflected cloud in the first is lovely and, although I can see why it's there, the post gets in the way a bit.

The golden light of the second is gorgeous but the distortion on the lighthouse is a bit of a shame.

The last two are my favourites, great light and composition on 3 and the starburst makes the last.

Thanks for the feedback everyone...the last shot was taken at F16 to try for a starburst, here's another example of the same South Stack lighthouse
