Love the B&W shot, agree with David about the Pelican shot, in fact it looks a little fake to me somehow, as though the pelican is superimposed?

Updated mine last night, no problems...having checked FF/BF of lenses yet but did do a before and after focus test with the DA17-70...no obvious difference as far as I could see

Not a pro but part-timer slowly building up...only really shoot landscapes, just managed to get my work into a 5th gallery/outlet and started last year running photography workshops...would love to go full time but I guess making a living from landscape photography alone would be difficult and portrait/wedding photography isn't really my thing

No brainer, 12-24mm over the 14mm every time...it's very sharp and obviously has a much greater zoom range

RPS doesn't appear to have the prominence it once had.

Funnily enough I've just been asked to do a talk at the local camera club in Mold, North Wales...maybe I need those letters after all

Just out of interest does anyone know of another photography forum which bans discussion on other camera makes...surely it's counter-productive to open debate. Wouldn't it be a positive move to create a section where members were allowed to discuss out marques?

The Nantlle ridge is one of the few areas I haven't walked in Snowdonia so it's still on my "must do" list, hopefully be up to it in a month or two, fingers crossed
