A good set Shaun, the stand-out for me is the Pelican - absolutely superb!
I also have this lens (or at least my son Daniel does) and we got ours for basically free! It came with a used K-m we bought!

Love the B&W shot, agree with David about the Pelican shot, in fact it looks a little fake to me somehow, as though the pelican is superimposed?

I didn't look at the feet before but I've had another look - I think Shaun has blurred the background to make the bird stand out more. Given that he only went to the zoo yesterday and uploaded these pretty quickly, they have probably only had a very quick flash through photoshop during post processing and the bit between the feet has been missed! Shaun can probably confirm this?

Well, I'll steer clear of the pelican debate because my favourites are 1 and 2 - so sharp and fantastic eye contact. Well done Shaun !

lol you got me i did blurred the background on the Pelican only a little bit but didn't look that much at it as the real shot looks the same really? don't know why i did that as it didn't need it in the first place?
as for the vignette no i like the photo as it is but it could look nice with it.

The Tiger is particularly enjoyable. Makes me want to go to Chester Zoo to try my hand. I realise I've not been since I've had digital Pentax, well done.

All of these shots where taken with the Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro DG Lens and i think its a great lens and only £121
