Thanks but I have just bought a PKA adaptor with 6 months warranty as the total setup incl lens at(£170) still works out at half the price of a new tamron sp90 and i can use it on other adaptall 2 lenses

Can someone tell me just how this can turn an mf lens in to an af lens? I imagine it has its own optic that somehow moves to adjust the overal focus but i have no idea - seeing as i have lots of pentax mf lenses i was thingking it might be worth getting one - i know they are around the £200 mark when they come up

I seem to remember getting a little discount or free postage on the last stuff i ordered lot long back; I cant remember which it was? anyway i was going to order some more stuff from srs and was wandering if anyone knew what the discount was and what procedure we follow

I would say the price is right i sold mine for 275 with kit lenses etc and a similar shutter count - perhaps it would be worth adding a lens or 2 and upping the price a little?

its the slightly later one the F2.8 which is the 72B I think so its 1.1 allready - i just need to get the correct adaptor as its got a nikon one on at the moment

overall a good outcome - sorry to hear about getting burned by another forum member as well though. trouble is I have been looking at your gallery and list of tamron lenses and you have got me browsing ebay for them - just bought an sp90 f2.8 to start and i can see more following soon
