Well done Mike, seems like a really good price,
I almost snagged this last night due to a poor listing description, he had an LX listed as an IXL, I threw in a last minute bid but it wasn't good enough. Still went for a very good price though. (£140) bummed that I missed it.

I had one last night, someone listed a Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro for £125 incl postage. I wasn't 100% happy with the description so logged into Payapl and cleared my account which meant I was using my credit card rather than funds to make the purchase. Went back and it had sold
It was on Ebay for a total of 11 minutes.
Also watched a MKI Sigma APO EX 70-200mm f2.8 go for £248 yesterday.

Mike... are you trying to collect every Tamron SP Adaptall 2 lens? You have quite a collection now!
I have oft been tempted by the infamous 500mm mirror but have yet to succumb.

I didn't intend it to start that way but it's starting to look a bit like it. What I would really like to get hold of is the 180mm f2.5 so if you see one on your travels give me a shout will you.

No
ask the sender to mark as gift, only because I've been stung so many times
and as it's stand's it is second hand and not new.
I bought a ring flash from the states and ended up paying over £50.00

Been after one of these for a while.
Got it for a pretty good price as well, I presume the lack of - and mm in the title (80-200mm) helped quite a bit.
I'd been watching this one as well, unfortunately running round like an idiot these last few days I missed it, well done that man looks a good buy.

I was just a bit annoyed the person who bid 1 second after me.I'd been watching this one as well, unfortunately running round like an idiot these last few days I missed it, well done that man looks a good buy.
The price was £80 ... I bid £142.50 (I always bid strange amounts to take in the postage) and he bid £140 a second later. I still won by 50p but he cost me £60

That's strange Mike
Do you think he was bidding on this own lens to raise the amount ??

Don't think so. Unfortunately since Ebay changed everything so we can only see very basic bidders details it's almost impossible to prove now. That's strange Mike

They make such a big thing of shill bidding and then stop the public from actually trying to see if sellers are.
