I got round it by shooting as raw dng in camera then i dont need to convert them but of course that does not help the ones you have allready taken

hopefully the pink tinge can easily be removed

I like the one of what i assume is your family - it captures the moment and conveys a positive image of an enjoyable time without any obvious posing for the photographer by the subjects in the picture, you can see that every one of them is watching the ground checking that they dont slip on the slope

yes thanks- that was my main concern and they are fine which makes me think that the most important part is working - its odd that is shows the apature on the rear lcd and not on the top lcd or in the viewfinder?

I have jut got a Tamron adaptall 2 PKA mount to use on my K7 with the later adaptall2 mf sp90 f2.8 lens

The adaptor is behaving oddly and i dont know if its the camera or the adaptor or a combination of the two - When the adaptor is attached to the camera and its set on the AE setting the apature information is displayed on the rear lcd and can be adjusted and all works fine but the apature info is not displayed on the top lcd or in the viewfinder a bit like the "m" lenses display however its important to note that it looke like the lens still meters and adjusts like an A lens and you can use live view with all information shown correcty which is a big bonus with macro on the k7 - i will test it further this evening

if i attach a normal pentax "A" mf lens on the A setting apature infomation is displayed on all three screens.

I contacted the supplier who had another PKA adaptor and they got the same result with the K7 so i think its the PKA mount and K7 combination together becuase as far as i can tell both items are functioning correctly and i doubt that both PKA adaptors are faulty. (they are a very good supplier and i could get a refund if necessary)

Has anyone else had this with the K7 and PKA adaptor? - if this is the case then i will let the supplier know so thst this issue is known -i dont think its a big problem - just more of an annoyance really

I use cs2 with my K7 so you should be able to use your current software - have you set the camera to save as raw dng files? pentax are one of the few companies that have the feature to save raw files as .dng in the camera - i then open in cs2 with no problems
