Back in the day I'd have given an eye for a super or programA.......... I wonder how many modern cameras will still be functioning in 30 years time.

I see Ricoh UK have opened a new gallery for Pentax Users. I'm pretty sure they used to link to this site under their Community links. Perhaps they could be asked for a statement about Pentax User and its value to them?

Subject to stipulations to the contrary, all items in the Website, in particular, text, brands, company names, logos, products, domain names, presentations, graphics, illustrations, photographs, videos, structures and layout are the exclusive property of PENTAX RICOH or of its partners.
I didn't see any 'stipulations to the contrary'.
How to shoot yourself in the foot with a new photo gallery!!

RussV, you asked about contractual obligations.
You'll find the answers in the Terms of Use (see bottom of page) which tells us that PU is an independent company with no ties to Pentax.
PU sprang from Pentax User Club and was the website provided to enhance membership of the club. Sadly the printed club magazine is no longer with us, but the site does provide a place for Pentax Users to get help and advice.
The Terms of Use define what the site is about in more detail.

What a bunch of great characters, Roger. The processing is a bit harsh for my taste: the images are so good, they would speak for themselves with a more measured approach, I reckon.
