Cracking shot. Certainly can't argue with the timing !

That's dust removal tel, not dust mapping.

Dan, I think the key words were: Just kidding John, I'm presuming it's down to lack of affordable telephoto options in the Pentax armoury.

Yes, a very high standard this week. Put me off my idea of popping into Debenhams to photograph the cosmetic counter assistants. Although I would have had won an award for the most orange picture !

Another cracking sharp image with a great mono conversion.

So much interest, but not too busy.

Thanks Anvh. It was a great sky for the subject. I prefer this one, again shot at Harlech castle.

Did a whistletop tour of North Wales last weekend & by & large followed the tourist trail mainly. One place I did visit (without my camera unfortunately) was a disused slate mine at Aberllefeni - fantastic scenery & old workings around there, not to mention hundreds of thousands of tons of spoil that garden centres would charge you a fortune for ! GOOGLE MAP LINK park at the site on the link & a path leads up the valley.

Harlech is a nice spot & you don't have to be somewhere unusual to take an unusual photo.

Harlech Castle:

A quick search on ebay for "USB extension lead" willprovide plenty of different length options.

Very nice images. Arachnaphobics beware !

Number 2 is my favourite of the bunch, shame there isn't a little more interest in the sky but I love the composition.
